Here’s a sweet treat combining that all-time favorite combo of peanut butter and chocolate that works at home or on the go. Especially yummy when it’s paired with an ice cold glass of skim milk, this one comes in at just 75 calories with just 4 grams of sugar. The rolled oats make it even more guilt free if you’re looking to include more whole grains, too.
(Tip: These make a cute, fall party take-away; throw a few in a little plastic bag and tie with colorful ribbon!)
1/3 cup Domino® Light Sugar & Stevia Blend
1/3 cup skim milk
½ cup peanut butter (opt for one with no sugar added, if you can)
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups rolled oats
3 tbsps. mini-chocolate chips
In a small saucepan, combine Domino® Light and milk over medium heat. Stir well and bring to a boil for 1½ minutes. Stir in peanut butter and vanilla. Remove from heat and add remaining ingredients; stir to incorporate. Scoop oat mixture into 1-tablespoon-sized balls and place on waxed paper. Let cool and refrigerate.
